About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Andrews Recruitment Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mechanical designs for various Data Centres and Mission Critical healthcare projects.

Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, you will cultivate existing and new business opportunities while maintaining profitability. Your expertise will be vital in fostering the growth of a technically skilled engineering team in this high-performing sector, while also exploring new avenues for business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic project concepts that align with client briefs and regulatory standards
  • Lead mechanical services design for large projects and manage small to medium-sized initiatives
  • Mentor junior staff to enhance their skills
  • Collaborate with the team leader to monitor financial aspects, promote innovative working practices, and uphold a strong industry reputation
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with excellent communication skills
  • Desirable experience in Data Centre projects and proficiency in Revit and BIM software
