Job Title - Production Planner
Location – Malvern UK- 5 days per week office based- 6 months FTC

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to create and manage manufacturing schedules that meet customer demand and effectively communicate with all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translate customer demand into feasible production schedules, considering material and labour availability.
  2. Collaborate with production planners, operational buyers, order managers, and production leads to ensure seamless production planning.
  3. Coordinate manufacturing activities and follow up on the manufacturing process with production leads to secure production plan feasibility.
  4. Create, schedule, release, and follow up on work orders, optimize planning for available resources, and solve or escalate problems that undermine on-time delivery.
  5. Maintain the production plan in the ERP system.
  6. Propose and implement improvements to operational processes, working in accordance with adopted improvement proposals.

About You:

  1. Hands-on mentality.
  2. Excellent communication skills and team player.
  3. Ability to work to deadlines in challenging environments.
  4. Able to influence and motivate others to achieve targets.
  5. Preferably experienced with MRP in SAP.
