Job Title - Production Planner

Location - Malvern UK- 5 days per week office based- 6 months FTC

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer demand into feasible production schedules, considering material and labour availability
  • Collaborate with production planners, operational buyers, order managers, and production leads
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities and follow up on the manufacturing process to ensure production plan feasibility
  • Create, schedule, release, and follow up on work orders, optimize planning for available resources, and solve or escalate problems that undermine on-time delivery
  • Maintain the production plan in the ERP system
  • Make proposals for improvement of operation processes, working in accordance with adopted improvement proposals

About You:

  • Hands-on mentality
  • Good communication skills and team player
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a challenging environment
  • Able to influence and motivate others to achieve targets
  • Strong administration skills
  • Preferably experienced with MRP in SAP
