Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe operation of all distribution activities across the depot, adhering to H&S legislation and safe systems of work.
  • Play a vital role in shaping the culture and approach of the workforce, supporting and developing the team through leading, coaching, and communicating.
  • Monitor productivity to ensure daily/weekly/period KPIs are achieved for your team while maintaining company standards.
  • Effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders, identifying challenges and solutions.
  • Support with ad-hoc driving requirements to sites in the area.

Requirements

  • CPC national or international qualification and a full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement).
  • Previous experience of managing a diverse transport department.
  • Exposure to operating within a commercial environment sufficient to develop effective customer service and commercial understanding.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Health and Safety and associated regulations.
