The successful candidate will provide specialist support services for people referred to the lung cancer service, offering information, education, and psychological support at various stages of their disease. Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nursing support to newly diagnosed lung cancer patients, including assessments and ongoing care coordination.
  • Liaise with community services, GPs, district nurses, palliative care teams, hospices, and social services to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
