Spinal Injury Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Spinal Injury Support Worker to join our team at Enviva Complex Care in Braintree, Essex. As a vital member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support and care to individuals with complex health needs.
Job Responsibilities- Delivering Personalised Care: You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring that you provide tailored support to meet their requirements.
- Assisting with Daily Living Activities: Your duties will include assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and other daily living activities to promote independence and comfort.
- Administering Medication and Monitoring Health Conditions: You will be responsible for administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients' health conditions to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Providing Emotional Support and Companionship: Your empathetic nature and excellent communication skills will enable you to provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate stress and anxiety.
- Maintaining Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate records of care provided, reporting any changes in clients' conditions to ensure comprehensive care.
- Previous Experience: We are looking for an individual with previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate Nature: A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature is crucial for providing high-quality care and support to our clients.
- Ability to Work Independently: You will work independently as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced care environment.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle are required due to the location and nature of the role.
