Job Title: Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage a portfolio of debt up to £8Mil, across 500 National & Non-national accounts.

About the Role

This is a Hybrid Working role, with the office based in Birmingham, B15. The successful candidate will be contracted to 37 hours per week, with a flexible schedule of Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 16:30.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and minimise aged debt and maximise Cash Collection using EDI & Standard trading platforms.
  • Establish and develop great working relationships with customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via calls, video meetings & emails.
  • Work within a fast-paced and busy environment, efficiently dealing with questions and workload.
Requirements
  • Previous Credit Controller experience, ideally with some understanding of Credit Risk.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills – able to build effective, long-term relationships.
  • Confident speaking with customers over the phone.
  • Commercial awareness – understands business requirements.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office and Outlook & financial software packages.
  • Intermediate skill level of Excel.
