A Band 6 specialist role has become available within the Bristol and Weston Bowel Cancer Screening Centre, which serves a population of over 900,000. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality care to screening participants. Based at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston, the individual will work across multiple sites, including Bristol Royal Infirmary, South Bristol Community Hospital, and Southmead Hospital.
We seek an enthusiastic and committed nurse to join our screening team. Responsibilities include supporting the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme in conjunction with the Lead Nurse/team members. As a registered nurse with current registration, you will undertake nurse-led clinics, assessing patients and providing appropriate care.
Key skills and qualifications required for this role include effective teamwork, autonomous practice, and management of a caseload. You will also be responsible for undertaking patient assessments and providing appropriate care in nurse-led clinics.
The estimated salary for this position is around £36,426 - £45,319 per annum, depending on experience. Full or part-time hours are available.
