Senior Management Accountant Opportunity

Think Accountancy and Finance is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their growing team in Kings Langley. As a trusted business partner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial activities and requirements of the legal entities, working closely with the Head of Finance to support the finance leads as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the team's preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Be a trusted business partner and first point of contact for any issues, proposals, or client-related matters that require escalation
  • Deliver periodic cash flow forecasts and distribution calculations with clear bridge analysis
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process
  • Prepare quarterly board reports and present finance sections at board meetings
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Manage bank compliance model preparation and loan covenant calculations, interest, and principal repayments, and any other banking requirements
  • Review VAT returns for all asset-managed entities before submission
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with applicable accounting standards (FRS 101, FRS 102, IFRS) and Companies Acts for all asset-managed entities
  • Prepare consolidated annual accounts
  • Support continuous improvements to accounting and reporting processes together with the wider Finance team
  • Assist with contract review for financial obligations, often reviewing calculations and preparing Contract Summaries as needed
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Experience within an Accountancy Practice
  • Strong accounting knowledge - IFRS, FRS 102, FRS 101, and UK GAAP
  • Management accounts experience
  • Statutory reporting experience
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Adaptability

  • Strong stakeholder experience
