We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Assistant English School Improvement Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of teaching, learning, and curriculum in English across our secondary schools.

As a key member of our English Improvement Team, you will work closely with the English Improvement Lead to drive improvements in English attainment across all our schools. Your expertise will be instrumental in embedding best practice and building capacity in line with our Trust's policies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-impact intervention programmes to improve English results
  • Analyse assessment data to identify and close gaps in learning
  • Deliver training and coaching for English teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Reading Strategy
  • Collaborate with school leaders and teachers to improve English curriculum intent and implementation
