Job Description: Hunts Recruitment Ltd is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to work on a flexible basis within an Ofsted rated 'Good' special needs school near Totton.

About the School: The school provides education and support to children and young people with special educational needs (SEN). The school values its staff and offers a supportive environment where you can grow and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities: As a temporary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with SEN, including those with profound and complex difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and autism. You will assist with personal care, provide emotional support, and help with physically challenging behaviors. You will also contribute to the development of individualized education plans and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have experience working or volunteering with children with SEN, ideally within a school setting or similar. You should possess a proactive work ethic, a resilient and patient nature, and a good understanding of special educational needs and behaviors. Additionally, you should be able to provide a range of support to pupils and be flexible but committed to the hours you can offer.
