About the Role:

Galliford Try is seeking a skilled Security Installation Engineer to join our Asset Intelligence business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems, including intruder panels, CCTV, access control, intercoms, PIDS, and other electronic security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems
  • Reviewing diagrams and providing strategies to install equipment in line with client specifications
  • Completion of test records, including inspection and test plans and reports
  • Attendance at site meetings with clients' engineering and operational teams
  • Utilizing industry best practices for system fault finding and problem-solving
  • Ensuring a safe work environment

About You:

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience in technical problem-solving, and a strong understanding of individual health and safety responsibilities. You should also be able to demonstrate alignment with our company values of excellence, passion, integrity, and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • ONC or City & Guilds/NVQ equivalent in a relevant field
  • Industrial experience of electronic security systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Relevant CSCS cards
