Caregiver Position Available

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate caregiver to join our team at Daviot Care Home in the Scottish Highlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering top-notch care and support to residents affected by general frailty, dementia, and mental health conditions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality care and support in line with resident care plans.
  2. Foster a warm and welcoming environment, engaging in daily activities.
  3. Adhere to Meallmore's standards, policies, and procedures, as well as national care standards.
  4. Work in accordance with the SSSC codes of practice.
  5. Collaborate with care staff within the department and across teams.
  6. Provide personal care services.
Desired Qualifications and Traits:
  • Working towards qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements.
  • SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and empathetic nature.
