Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in Kirkby, working on a full-time locum contract. As a Fostering Social Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children in foster care.

The ideal candidate will have significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK, working as a qualified Social Worker. A degree or equivalent in social work and current registration with Social Work England are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess the needs of children and families, developing effective plans to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • To work closely with foster carers, providing guidance and support to promote positive outcomes for children.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is £37.23 per hour (assignment rate). We offer a competitive hourly rate, reflecting the importance of this role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
