Cost Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Consultant to join our team at Gregory Martin International. As a Cost Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the Defence, Energy, Space & Communications & Intelligence sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cost analysis and estimation services to support business cases and MOD policy development
  • Develop and maintain cost models and spreadsheets to support programme and project management
  • Conduct risk analysis and schedule risk analysis to identify potential cost risks
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their cost management needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Communicate complex cost concepts and solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in cost analysis, cost estimation, and cost engineering
  • Strong knowledge of MOD approvals, cost analysis, and cost estimation methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • British Nationals with SC or DV Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Qualifications: Degree, HND in a numerate discipline such as Engineering, Maths, Physics etc.
