Join Our Team as a Senior Psychiatric Consultant - Full Time
We are pleased to announce a full-time position for a Senior Psychiatric Consultant to become part of our dedicated team focusing on acute assessment and treatment for older adults experiencing organic disorders.
Key Highlights:
- Become a vital member of a well-established inpatient team delivering acute psychiatric care to older adults facing organic mental health challenges.
- Engage in the evaluation of our clinical framework, with potential opportunities to incorporate non-medical Physician Lead Healthcare Support roles.
- Benefit from a Recruitment and Retention incentive of £20,000, distributed in two payments.
- Access a generous relocation support package of up to £10,000.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care within the Older Adult Acute Organic Inpatient Unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive inpatient care.
- Participate in the consultant on-call rota.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through study leave and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a General Medical Qualification (e.g., MBBS or equivalent).
- MRCPsych or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Registration on the Specialist Register in Psychiatry.
- Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.
