Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, effectively maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts to ensure continued profitability
  • Deal with incoming customer queries and provide advice and solutions
  • Undertake outbound activity to identify and target new customers
  • Work closely with and support the external sales team
  • Administer sales orders and quotations, ensuring customer expectations are met and excellent communication is maintained
  • Regularly use internal CRM systems to track customer interactions
  • Process sales and purchases through the Sage accounts system
  • Procure goods and services to meet customer needs and business requirements
  • Update orders on the system and inform customers of any amendments
  • Ensure all relevant information regarding delivery times, code numbers, and requirements are correct
  • Support the external sales function from quotations through to purchasing
Requirements
  • Recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • 3 years of industry experience or previous administrative experience
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and multitask
  • Ability to spot other opportunities with the client
  • Account management and customer service to a high level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Sage Accounts sales and purchases
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Fluency in Italian is an advantage but not required
Benefits
  • Salary dependent on experience, £25k-£30k
  • Standard working hours, Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-16:00
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
