Application Engineer PCS

At Wärtsilä, we are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team in the greater London UK region. As an Application Engineer PCS, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales and delivery teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including application notes and product manuals.
  • Provide customer feedback and market requirements to the Product Management organization for further product development and portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Software Engineering teams to develop new suppliers and products.
  • Support the sales and proposals teams, as well as the delivery and service team.
  • Assist the Delivery team with inspections, troubleshooting, and other expert tasks at suppliers and in the field.

Requirements for the Position:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Power Electronics Engineering or a similar field of study.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Energy Storage and Renewable Energy field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
