Job Title: Youth Support Worker - Residential Therapeutic Provision

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Support Worker to join our team at a children's residential provider in Nottinghamshire. The successful candidate will work with a therapeutic provision that houses 5 children and young people between the ages of 7 – 16, who have been diagnosed with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health), or complex trauma needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a therapeutic model such as P.A.C.E to support the young people in our care
  • Support the development of life skills and independence in the young people
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for the young people to thrive
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistency and continuity in the care of the young people
  • Support the young people in achieving their goals and aspirations

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviours or trauma
  • Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce or willingness to work towards this
  • 'Can-do' attitude and flexibility with shifts
