About the Job

The Dorchester Hotel is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the logistics team, overseeing the receipt and storage of goods, and coordinating deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a large hotel setting. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in computer systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the logistics team and developing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including resolving delivery issues and discrepancies
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to track inventory levels and logistics performance
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance logistics operations
