About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation, with experience working in the water industry and industrial settings. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are completed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise
  • Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation
Requirements
  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • Experience within water / construction industry
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable)
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers in delivering safe profitable projects
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Full UK driving licence
