Job Title: Principal Engineer, Pipelines H/F

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to lead our pipeline design team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing onshore and offshore rigid pipelines for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of pipeline projects, including conceptual selection, FEED, and execution phases.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with company HSEQ policies and industry standards.
  • Supervise and direct a team of discipline engineers and designers to deliver high-quality pipeline work.
  • Manage project deliverables, man hours, and resources to meet project objectives.
  • Perform site visits to manufacturers and third-party contractors as required.
  • Act as a technical specialist for pipeline design activities and provide expertise to colleagues.
  • Liaise with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new legislations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Working experience in the Oil and Gas industry with respect to rigid offshore and onshore pipelines.
  • Knowledge of software such as DNVGL pipelines design suite (SESAM pipeline package, PET, AutoPipe, SAGE Profile, AGA).
  • Knowledge of UK and international specifications and codes (BS, DNV, ISO, API, and ASME) is desirable.
  • Highly motivated with great interpersonal skills, excellent teamwork capabilities, and strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline such as Pipeline Engineering, Subsea Pipeline Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
