Vox Network Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Building Control Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' construction projects meet the required building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
  • Review and assess building plans and designs to identify potential risks and non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on building regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve compliance and reduce risks.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in building regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Degree, HNC or degree equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
  • Membership of a professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB.
  • Achieved or working towards a minimum of Class 2 registration.
  • 5 years of building control experience, either with a local authority or a private organization.

What We Offer

  • Initial 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • Pay via Umbrella.
