About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Claire's. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales and profit, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales and Profit: Drive and achieve retail store targets by implementing effective sales strategies and managing inventory levels.
  2. Customer Service: Deliver the finest level of customer service by providing a personalized and engaging shopping experience.
  3. Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  4. Commerciality: Ensure that your store is well-merchandised and commercially correct, with a focus on driving sales and revenue growth.
  5. Team Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in training and coaching the store team to enhance their skills and career development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year retail management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • A sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
  • The ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem-solve
  • The ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly
