Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Graduate Network. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing academic support to Year 3 pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and be able to provide engaging and effective teaching assistant support. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver lessons and activities that promote Literacy and Numeracy skills in Year 3 children.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to develop your teaching skills, build relationships with students and staff, and contribute to the success of our primary school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to Year 3 pupils
  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Help to prepare and mark resources and materials
  • Support the development of Literacy and Numeracy skills in Year 3 children

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be charismatic and energetic, with a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people's lives. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
