About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Writer to join our team as a Scientific Communications Specialist. This is a key role within our organization, responsible for producing high-quality copy suitable for use across a range of media.

As a Scientific Communications Specialist, you will work collaboratively with internal teams to add significant value and apply the benefit of your experience to guide projects. You will also be proactive in identifying opportunities to drive new business activity and front client relations as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce appropriately formatted copy which is suitable for use across a range of media
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to add significant value and guide projects
  • Front client relations as appropriate and identify opportunities to drive new business activity
  • Mentor team members and take overall responsibility for their involvement
  • Input to the development of strategy and advise on all scientific elements
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need 7+ years of experience as a Medical Writer in an agency setting, ideally across creative medical writing. You should have experience working with global pharmaceutical companies and creative briefs, as well as working directly with clients.

You will also need a solid scientific background and experience working on a number of therapeutic areas. Learning and understanding new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively is essential, inspiring confidence with the client.
