Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager

Appoint Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in Pontypridd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and treatment for our patients.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for leading a team of mental health professionals in a low secure environment, providing care and treatment for adults with severe and enduring mental illness. Your expertise will be essential in guiding and informing your team's practice, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of mental health professionals in a low secure environment
  • Provide care and treatment for adults with severe and enduring mental illness
  • Guide and inform your team's practice to ensure the highest level of care
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead Manager to ensure smooth administration of the ward
Requirements:
  • Experience working with patients with complex needs and trauma
  • Good knowledge of other mental health conditions
  • Ability to lead a team and guide practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
