Exciting Opportunity for an Assistant Drainage Engineer

Penguin Recruitment is working with a leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy to find an experienced Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their Civils Team in Leeds.

This role offers a unique chance to work on a variety of projects, including Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Environmental Consultancy services for residential development projects, distilleries, energy plants, retail, and healthcare projects.

As an Assistant Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3.
  2. Developing Drainage Strategies for planning applications and designing drainage systems using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology, or a related field, and experience working in a consultancy or local authority environment.

It is essential that applicants reside locally and have a keen interest in Civil Engineering, Road Designs, Flood Risk Assessments, or Flood Consequence Assessments.
