Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled catering team member to join our team at North Ayrshire Council. Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will assist in providing high-quality catering services by preparing and serving meals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cook and bake meals to meet the highest standards of quality and taste.
  • Show leadership skills and take charge of meal preparation when necessary.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver excellent results.
  • Operate within food safety and nutritional guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of our customers.
Working Arrangements

This role involves working primarily at a single base or location, with more than 90% of time spent on-site. You will be part of a dynamic team that works together to provide exceptional service.

Requirements

PVG (Children) certification is required due to the post's regulated work with children. Preferred candidates must join the PVG Scheme prior to employment confirmation.

Estimated Salary:

£27,500 per annum.
