TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is working with a highly regarded, modern chartered accountancy practice based in Kent, seeking a Financial Manager to join their experienced team. This independent, multi-sited firm of chartered accountants offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

As a Financial Manager, you will collaborate with other managers and oversee a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will have the flexibility to manage your portfolio independently while working closely with a skilled team of managers and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied client portfolio
  • Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
  • Creating income and expenditure accounts for clients as needed
  • Overseeing bookkeeping and organizing accounting records
  • Reviewing, preparing, and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
  • Providing outstanding client service by addressing queries and offering support
  • Collaborating with senior management, including assisting Partners on projects
  • Contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and fostering relationships with potential clients.

Requirements

  • You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
  • You will have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT.
