GCS Associates is a successful timber merchant seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their team.
Salary: The salary for this role is entirely negotiable, based on experience. We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can think on their feet and demonstrate sound timber knowledge when called upon.
Job Description: As an Internal Sales Executive, you will interact with customers over the phone, by email, and face-to-face. Your key responsibilities will include taking quotation enquiries, developing rapport with customers, and upselling where possible. You will also work on quotations, generating quotes and following them up to turn them into orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience within an Internal Sales role within the construction supplies / building materials sector. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as being numerate and literate. IT proficiency in MS Office is also essential. A strong sales background and customer service experience are also highly desirable.
