Development Lead/Development Manager - NEW - Brand New Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead/Development Manager to build a brand new Development Team within our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our software products and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of our software products, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Build and manage a high-performing Development Team, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Develop and implement Agile product development methodologies and DevOps practices to improve team efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and Quality Assurance, to ensure that our software products meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies into our software products.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing Development Teams.
  • Strong software development background, with experience in Java/Node.
  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £100,000, plus a bonus scheme. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative software products.

Location:

Home-Working / Manchester Office.
