About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our clinical housekeeping team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness within the department environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team to ensure Infection Control cleaning is maintained
  • Organise and provide food and beverages for patients, if working in an area where patients eat and drink
  • Ensure adequate stock levels and maintenance of support under direction
  • Enable patient flow and capacity by working efficiently and effectively

Requirements

  • Level 2 or GCSE C/4 grade or above in Maths and English Language or equivalent
  • Experience working with the public and communication/relationship skills
  • Ability to work to plan, adjust workload according to service demand, and manage preset stock levels
  • Physical fitness, including lifting, bending, walking, reaching, and standing
  • Demonstrate an understanding of equality and inclusion practices in the delivery of this role
