Clinical Housekeeper Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our clinical housekeeping team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness within the department environment
- Ensure Infection Control cleaning is maintained, in partnership with the Facilities Team
- Organise and provide food and beverages for patients, if working in an area where patients eat and drink
- Ensure adequate stock and maintenance of support under direction, the ward activity to enable patient flow and capacity
Requirements
- Level 2 or GCSE C/4 grade or above in Maths and English Language or equivalent
- Experience working with the public and communication/relationship skills
- Ability to work to plan and adjust workload according to service demand
- Physical fitness; lifting, bending, walking, reaching, standing
