Site Services Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Site Services Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a globally recognized food manufacturer in Kettering. As a key member of the Site Services Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the production facility is running smoothly. Your duties will include daily update of utilities service schedules, daily boiler checks, weekly utilities checks, and boiler operation in accordance with BOAS. You will also be responsible for managing the waste water treatment plant, developing relationships with contractors, and carrying out investigations and repairs as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily update utilities service schedule
  • Daily boiler checks
  • Weekly utilities checks
  • Boiler Operation in accordance with BOAS
  • Absorption chiller operation checks
  • Compliance checks
  • Manage the waste water treatment plant and carry out laboratory analysis as required.
  • Develop relationship with contractors to ensure support is maintained for plant operation.
  • Chemical stock level checks and reordering
  • Carry out investigations and repairs identified by Site Service Team, Team leader and Process Engineer
  • Carry out weekly, monthly, quarterly PPM to the Site Services plant, equipment and process
  • Weekly fire alarm testing and recording
  • Daily site repairs
  • Weekly sprinkler tests and logging
  • Monthly domestic water temperature testing
  • Monthly meter readings
  • Weekly compliance checks & tests

Requirements:

  • Site Services Experience
  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 In Electrical Engineering
  • External Training On Boiler Maintenance
  • Refrigeration/Ammonia Knowledge
  • Waste Water Treatment Training
  • 17th/18th Edition
  • Forklift Trained - Preferable
  • Food Industry Experience
