We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveying professional to join our team at Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality building surveying services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Building Surveying team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide expert advice on building surveying matters, including surveys, dilapidation advice, and party wall advice.
- Manage building surveying commissions from feasibility through to design, contract administration, and handover.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project team members to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Prepare bids for services and manage service delivery for profit.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Building Surveyor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services. You will have:
Broad, in-depth Building Surveying experience post MRICS qualification.Detailed knowledge and practical experience of delivery of building surveying tasks.Comprehensive knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts.Ability to motivate others and lead high-performance teams.Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, and financial management skills.Sound ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.About UsGleeds Corporate Services Ltd is a leading provider of building surveying services.
