Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Automotive Engineering

Cardiff and Vale College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Automotive Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students in the field of automotive engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver classes at all levels at College sites, including the City Centre Campus and other campuses as needed.
  • Coordinate, deliver, and assess all aspects of programmes within the range of Light Vehicle mechanics courses up to Level 3 standard.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to meet the needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum content and teaching practices.
Requirements:
  • PGCE or willingness to work towards a PGCE.
  • Qualified to Level 3 Light Vehicle repair.
  • Recent experience of working in the automotive repair industry.
  • Welsh language skills desirable.
