Are you a skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Technician looking for a challenging role in patient care? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 5 Pharmacy Homecare Technician.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the operational aspects of the pharmacy homecare service with planning, developing and organising, under the direction of Pharmacy Homecare Service Manager.
  • Process authorise and receipt Homecare deliveries on the pharmacy system and provide homecare pharmacy service within clinical areas as required due to service capacity.
  • To be a point of contact within the trust regarding medicines home delivery service for Homecare companies, Pharmacists, Clinicians, Purchasers, Contracting and Finance.
  • Co-ordinate the pharmacy homecare medicines service, prioritise and manage the workload and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Support service review meetings for homecare medicines management working closely with homecare companies, pharmacists, nurses, doctors, other healthcare staff and patients.
  • To work with clinical pharmacists and clinicians to develop and implement effective systems for administering patient access schemes (PAS).

About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary of £25,761 - £35,941 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including access to Learning & Development opportunities, flexible shifts, wellbeing resources, and paid annual leave.

Your Qualifications

  • Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Must be ACT accredited.
  • NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Services or Equivalent.
