Are you a motivated and experienced paediatric audiologist looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Paediatric Audiologist Team Leader at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering advanced clinical practice in paediatric audiology, including behavioural testing in children considered non-routine, objective testing, and hearing aid fitting and verification.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for line-management responsibility, supervising, coaching, and mentoring junior members of staff to ensure that a consistently high-quality clinical service is provided. This is an ideal post for an experienced paediatric audiologist or clinical scientist who would like to further develop their leadership, management, and advanced clinical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced clinical practice in paediatric audiology, including behavioural testing, objective testing, and hearing aid fitting and verification.
  • Provide line-management responsibility, supervising, coaching, and mentoring junior members of staff.
  • Work closely with the Head of Paediatric Audiology to develop the service.
  • Ensure that a consistently high-quality clinical service is provided.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc or PTP in audiology with additional training in paediatric audiology, or a Clinical Scientist (Audiology) qualification.
  • Evidence of further specialist training and experience in paediatric audiology in an NHS context.
  • Registration with HCPC as a Clinical Scientist or with AHCS as an Audiologist.

We offer a competitive salary of £62,449 - £85,164 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, health insurance, and annual leave.
