Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our dynamic team at TM Green Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained across all our projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry best practices. This will include conducting risk assessments, ensuring all safety measures are effectively communicated and adhered to on-site, and providing expert advice and support to project teams and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure all safety measures are effectively communicated and adhered to on-site.
  • Provide expert advice and support to project teams and management to promote a culture of safety.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, conducting audits and inspections as required.
  • Deliver training and inductions to staff and subcontractors on health and safety procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
  • Grad IOSH status (essential).
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Safety (preferred but not essential).
  • Significant experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
