About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our dynamic team in Corby. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained across all our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure all safety measures are effectively communicated and adhered to on-site.
  • Provide expert advice and support to project teams and management to promote a culture of safety.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, conducting audits and inspections as required.
  • Deliver training and inductions to staff and subcontractors on health and safety procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
  • Grad IOSH status (essential).
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Safety (preferred but not essential).
  • Significant experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
