Opportunity Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our dynamic Yorkshire-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to develop their expertise in managing defendant clinical negligence files and providing expert advice on all aspects of healthcare law.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated to contribute to the growth and success of our claims team, with a strong focus on achieving financial and chargeable targets while maintaining exceptional standards of client service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a caseload of litigated and pre-litigated claims, conducting thorough investigations to repudiate and/or conclude claims.
  2. Advise NHS Resolution, members, healthcare indemnifiers, and insureds on clinical negligence matters.
  3. Collaborate with various parties, including claimants, clients, counsel, experts, and other stakeholders.
  4. Draft essential documents, including SLA reports and pleadings.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Solicitor (NQ-6 years + PQE) or equivalent experience.
  2. Strong technical ability and knowledge of CPR.
  3. Experience in clinical negligence/medical malpractice claims.

Our estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
