We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Morrisons, a leading supermarket chain with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and community healthcare.
As a Pharmacist with Morrisons, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing expert advice and care to our customers and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on medication and healthcare-related matters.
- Conduct clinical checks on prescriptions and manage controlled drugs in accordance with pharmacy standards.
- Work collaboratively with other pharmacy colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of pharmacy services.
- Support the pharmacy team in achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy data security and protection protocols.
- Oversee the ordering and replenishment of pharmacy stock and control the sale of medicines.
- Report any dispensing errors and near misses.
- Act promptly to any stock recall notices or drug alerts.
- Build relationships with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals in the community.
- Use expert knowledge and opportunistic interventions to deliver pharmacy services and sales.
About You
We are looking for a Pharmacist who:
- Has a Pharmacy degree and is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Has experience of working in the community pharmacy sector.
- Can demonstrate experience of working as part of a successful team.
- Shows care and compassion for customers with a customer-first ethos.
- Is enthusiastic and committed to delivering pharmacy services and KPIs.
- Delivers the highest level of customer service, building relationships with customers, colleagues, and the community.
