Youth Care Specialist

This role is challenging but also incredibly rewarding. The young people we support often exhibit complex behaviour and require a high level of care and understanding. To support them effectively, you will need excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and office skills. You must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with young people and your team, as well as stay calm under pressure. A salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in providing quality care and support.
We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 1 year's experience working with Looked After Children of secondary school age. An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable, and you must have the right to work in the UK. A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one is essential, as well as the ability to provide references covering a minimum of 3 years.
