As an Environmental Enforcement Officer with APCOA, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our communities. Your primary responsibility will be to enforce local laws and regulations related to environmental protection, ensuring that individuals and businesses comply with these standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce laws related to littering, fly tipping, and dog fouling
  • Issue Fixed Penalty Notices to offenders
  • Prepare and submit cases for trial, assisting legal services as needed
  • Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution
  • Validate and verify personal details of offenders
  • Build good working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Police

Requirements:

  • Experience in enforcement work, including security work (preferred)
  • Knowledge of green services, such as cleansing and waste collection (desired)
  • Ability to adapt and engage with diverse audiences, working as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • A full clean driving licence
