Maintenance Support Specialist

As an Assistant Maintenance Manager at ibis Cambridge central Station, you will be responsible for supporting the Management team in maintaining the highest standards of facilities operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the engineering team and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Coordinating with other departments to minimize equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Providing technical support and carrying out works as required.
- Managing departmental costs and administering duties.

Requirements
- Formal qualification in Mechanical, HVAC, or Electrical, or operational experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools and Outlook.
- Management experience.
- H&S trained.
- Ability to read and write risk assessments.
- Energy management.
- Budget planning (CAPX and OPEX cost controls).
- Proven experience of project management.
