CMM Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced CMM Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Orion Electrotech Sales in Titchfield.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to meet the highest quality standards.
An estimated salary for this role is £17.39 per hour, increasing to £17.91 after 12 weeks.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves programming, operating, and maintaining our CMMs to measure components accurately. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure all parts are manufactured to precise specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Program and operate manual and automated CMMs to measure components according to technical drawings.
- Inspect machined parts and assemblies to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Log inspection data and create detailed reports for traceability and future reference.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in programming and operating CMMs.
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
