Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Orion Electrotech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring top-tier quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure production efficiency, quality, safety, and consistency by implementing Lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinating with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory and resource utilization.
  • Oversee maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and safely.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures, investigate production issues, and resolve them with corrective actions.
  • Develop work instructions and SOPs, provide training and technical support to production staff, and advise on best practices.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to transition new products from development to production, document processes, and implement line layouts.
  • Promote safety by adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies, conduct risk assessments, and implement hazard mitigation measures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Evaluate the environmental performance and sustainability of products and supply chain, ensuring compliance with standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in production engineering, with a focus on both design and production.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and production management tools.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
