Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our Film and Television Production department as a Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as leading the planning and delivery of our new BFI-backed Saturday Club.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and committed individual to join our established and successful team. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing Level 2 and Level 3 vocational courses focused on the Film, Television, and Media Production industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Lead the planning and delivery of the new BFI-backed Saturday Club
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and resources
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental targets

Requirements:

  • UK Honours degree or UK ENIC recognised degree in a relevant subject
  • PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification
  • Practical experience of working in the film, television, or media industries
  • Experience of working in an educational environment
  • Ability to work well in a team to achieve agreed targets
