Childcare Services Team Leader

As a Deputy Home Manager at Aspris Children's Services Limited, you will play a vital role in supporting and leading a small team of staff in a 5-bedded children's home. Our home provides a safe and understanding ethos for young people with emotional, behavioural difficulties, and complex needs.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- SUPORTING AND CARING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH EMOTIONAL, BEHAVIOURAL DIFFICULTIES, AND COMPLEX NEEDS.
- SUPERVISISING AND LEADING A SMALL STAFF TEAM.
- UPDATING CARE PLANS AND REPORTING INFORMATION RELEVANT TO THE CARE OF OUR YOUNG PEOPLE.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People.
- Experience of team leadership.
- Resilience, communication, organisation, caring, and attentiveness.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive training program, career progression opportunities, and a supportive and collaborative working environment. Our Home:
Our children's home is situated between Mildenhall and Lakenheath, providing a rural setting for our young people to thrive. We have a small holding where we keep farm animals, providing environment enrichment for our young people. Our staff and young people help to look after these animals, promoting teamwork and responsibility.
